Sexual Violence Education and Prevention Training for Faculty and Staff

Welcome to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Sexual Violence Education and Prevention awareness training module. All Ontario employers are required to provide their workers and supervisors with specific "Sexual Violence Education and Prevention Training" as mandated by the provincial government through a new regulation under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. The material covered in this training session meets the requirements set out by the Ontario Ministry of Labour. This module will take approximately 1 hour to complete and must be completed in its entirety. Stopping the session before completion will result in the loss of saved information.

Once you start the module you must review all sections, from start to finish, and complete all exercises. The successful completion of the module will automatically be recorded in Banner.

The university is required to report training compliance to the Ministry of Labour upon request.
