WORKPLACE VIOLENCE and HARASSMENT PREVENTION

Welcome to the Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention training module for Durham College and UOIT. All Ontario employers are required to provide their employees with information and instruction on workplace violence and harassment policies and programs as mandated by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. The material covered in this training session meets the requirements as set out by the Act. This module will take approximately 45 minutes to complete and must be completed in its entirety. Stopping the session before completion will result in the loss of saved information.

Once you start the module you must review all sections, from start to finish, and complete all quiz questions. The successful completion of the module will automatically be recorded in Banner.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you print out a copy of your training certificate to maintain for your personal records.

Both DC and UOIT are required to report training compliance to the Ontario Ministry of Labour upon request.
